Used a compound butter with garlic salt, Holy Cow, Cilantro, salt and pepper. Braised the corn with the butter and put the corn on the smoker and cooked it for about 45 minutes. It was slightly overdone though and the flavor wasn't as good. The smoke was overpowered.
Next time, maybe a lighter smoke, like cherry or pecan and less time on the smoker and a mid-term brush with the butter too.
